The Commercial Arm

The Corporation’s Commercial arm dates back to the Barbados Marketing Corporation (BMC).  The function of importing poultry parts and onions continued with the merger in 1993 of the Barbados Marketing Corporation (BMC) and the Barbados Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) becoming the Barbados Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (BADMC).  The State Trading Enterprise (S.T.E) today imports poultry parts and onions, which provide a source of revenue for the corporation.
