All persons intending to transit live animals through Barbados to other territories must receive permission to do so from the Senior Veterinary Officer.  This is necessary even if the animal remains on board the aircraft or ship for the duration of the stay.

*Please note that a copy of the import permit issued by the importing (destination) country will be required before the transit application is processed.

Dear Sir/Madam,
My family and I are traveling on Condor Airlines from Tobago to Frankfurt on July 15th, 2013, with a two hour stop in Barbados. We are traveling with our two cats in the hold We reside in Trinidad. Please let me know what documentation you need from me to transit with the cats in Barbados. Also, is it sufficient to bring the documentation with me or shall I submit it in advance?
