The Agricultural Information Service is charged with the responsibility of managing and disseminating a wide variety of agricultural information ultimately for the benefit of the farming community. It functions as a service unit in an environment that spans the farming community, the technical and administrative institutions, the agricultural education system and the wider field of national, regional, and international agricultural information. Mission Statement The mission of the Agricultural Information Services is to collect, store, catalogue, maintain and publish agricultural and agricultural related information via diverse media for the use by researchers and for dissemination to the farming community, consumers, students and the general public.
