The Barbados 4-H Foundation culminated six months of training and competitions with the premier event on the 4-H Calendar, the 4-H Award & Prize Giving Ceremony.  Held at the Sir Hugh Springer Auditorium of the Barbados Workers Union, Solidarity House, on May 12th, 2012, this ceremony saw the 4-Hers receiving inspirational and practical words of advice from Miss Keeley Holder, Managing Director of Produce Growers Ltd. and the Vice President of the National Union of Farmers.

The Holders' Hill Community 4-H Club held a church service to mark the club's 4th Anniversary at the Western Light Church of the Nazarene, Oxnards, St. James at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday November 28th, 2010. 

Following the church service members were treated to a luncheon by club leader, Mrs. Lynette Phoenix-Walcott, at her home in Holders' Hill, St. James.

The church service signified the culmination of a month of activities which included

1. A games evening on Saturday, November 13th, 2010

2. Lecture on Parenting delivered by Mrs. Patricia Lintonon Saturday, November 20th, 2010

3. A church service with AGAPE Connections youth group and a Social Evening for club members on Saturday, November 27, 2010

The club expects to continue informal celebrations during the coming months.
